Great quality look and functionality The instructions were adequate but could have included a couple extra details. For example the fuel lines are absolutely in the way and probably need to be disconnected to get them out of the way fully. I also wasnt sure if I needed to weld the circle cutouts which I ended up doing to keep water out. The last thing I will mention is if your OEM bump stop are rusted out you will need to figure out another solution before completing this installation.
What an improvement!
The coil buckets on my TJ were in bad shape so these are a great improvement. I removed the old buckets and cleaned up the frame then had a local welder finish up the install ( my little buzz box wasnt really up to the task). I do have some potential interference between the right hand coil spring and the track bar bolt. Ill figure out something.
Artec rear spring relocation bracket
High quality perfect fit used the 1 stretch built in locator worked perfectly in repositioning the rear wheels in the tire opening.
Perfect fit
Got these in great time. Nice sturdy material. Everything lined up great and fit on my TJ perfectly.
Nice product
I have used this kit in a couple of builds now and really like it. Install is straight forward or straight up and down which ever you like. I do like that is can be used with both triangulated and non triangulated rear suspension set ups. Well done inartecwetruss(t)
Top tier service
This was the first time I have ever done a mod to my own Jeep that required welding. I consider myself a grinding pro more than a welder but needed to correct those springs to get rid of the sag and stop replacing springs. I not only received my order quickly (3days) during a pandemic but I called with questions and a lot of hesitation. I not only got a live person but he answered my questions and left me feeling confident. I completed the job in one afternoon and I am more than pleased with the quality and construction. The instructions were good and customer service was amazing. Will definitely be back for any future needes
Quality
Awesome product Quality is beyond expectations. Clear through instructions. This was my first artec product and will definitely not be my last
Is the TJ Rear Coil Correction Kit part # TJ2015 still available??
A — Staff (Artec Team): It is still an active part number. At the current moment they are backordered but the next production batch should be finished in the next day or two. Thanks!
will these fix the bowing rear springs with a 6" lift?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes that is the intention of this bracket is to correct the bowing of the springs on lifted Jeeps.
Will these coil buckets fit the 2x3 square tubing required to build a new frame when using the TJ back half kit, Part Number: FK0002?
A — Staff (Artec Team): The rear coil correction kit is intended to be used with the OEM rear frame section
It's a kit. So it's a paire ?i dont dont to order 2 kit to do both side ?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes, This is for a pair of brackets.
Is there a tube for the bump stop on these?
A — Staff (Artec Team): there is not tube you would need to reuse the factory bump stop and cup
Does this bracket lower the ride height when using existing rear coil spring?
A — Staff (Artec Team): This bracket does not lower height at all, you will stay the same height as you do with oem coil mounts
What is the difference between the stock and stretch? I didnt see the option when I first ordered and plan on stretching the rear. How does the correction bracket kit fit when you are still running the rear factory track bar bracket?
A — Staff (Artec Team): the stretch is an optional hole built into the bracket that allows you to position it back 1" . If you are retaining the factory frame side trackbar bracket there is a laser etched line on the bracket indicating where you would need to trim off a small section so it will clear the bracket .
Will these effect the current lift height i have now?
A — Staff (Artec Team): These will not affect your height in any way, they are stock height
Excellent
