Killer product
These are by far the most user friendly HD LCA mounts out there. I highly recommend them. They are super beefy and super easy to install. Dont try and save a couple bucks with less superior mounts. I give these a 5 star 10 times over
Awesome product
Replaced the stock brackets before trailering 1k miles to play in the mojave desert. Didnt want them to be the weak point and reason I broke. New brackets are awesome not only are they super beefy but the install was a breeze. Highly recommend to anyone wanting their D30 to take more of a beating.
BOSS
Such a good upgrade to the useless sheetmetal ones that come stock on the LJTJs. Dont wait until you rip through the OEMs. Upgrade now
Artec Axle Brackets
Another excellent product from Artec. Tore the stock wrangler control arm bracket off of my jeep wrangler and purchased these as a replacement. Very strong and the design is well thought out. Instructions for install are easy to follow. Because of design it is impossible to make an error. These are not my first Artec product. I chose Artec brackets when I built a Ford 8.8 rear axle for my jeep. I purchased the adapter kit and was impressed with the quality and strength of the brackets. Will never look anywhere else when needing aftermarket products that Artec produces.
LCA on my Dana 44
Installed these on my 2006 Rubicon Dana 44 after rocks beat the heck out of my factory LCA. These are nice and beefy and already have the correct angle built into them that it was a snap to get them tacked in then welded up. I think the hardest part was removing the factory LCA.
Upgraded lower control arm brackets
My factory bracket broke off while playing on some rocks. These where easy to install and weld into place and a lot stronger.
before installation of the product, should I weld the seams on the L and R of the bottom of the bracket?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes you will want to weld up the seams that are open
Are these bracket for the rear axle?
A — Staff (Artec Team): The TJ3011 & TJ3012 brackets are designed for the front Axle for the rear axle you would use TJ8805 .
I have a 98 jeep XJ do I need the slotted version of this bracket?
A — Staff (Artec Team): XJ's typically use the 9/16 hole version of this bracket the caster adjustment is on the unibody side of the xj mounts
I need a passenger side bracket for the lower control arm for a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo what part number?
A — Staff (Artec Team): for the ZJ you will want part Number TJ3012 we only sell them as a pair
i have a 97 XJ and after looking at the lower brackets i dont have an adjustment cam set up. Are the TJ3012 the way to go for my application or should I upgrade to the cam style for adjustment reasons? If so will they come with the cams and bolts since mine doesn
A — Staff (Artec Team): For use on an XJ you will want the TJ3012. There is no reason to upgrade to the cam version on an XJ since the XJ cam adjustment is on the back side of the Arm on the uni-frame. Where a TJ/ZJ has the adjustment on the axle end via cam .
will my stock control arm fit the tj 3012 brackets properly?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes this will work with both stock or aftermarket control arms
Is part TJ 30/44 Lower Control Arm Bracket in stock and available for shipment? Thanks.
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes we have both the TJ3011 & TJ3012 lca brackets both in stock and ready to ship
Will the LCA brackets (TJ3012) require the use of weld washers for a 98 wrangler with new adjustable control arms? If so, what weld washers are recommended?
A — Staff (Artec Team): The TJ3012 will not require any weld washers since you have adjustable lower control arms you can use the adjustment in the arm to adjust the caster of the axle. These are made of 1/4" mild steel so they will not wallow out like the OE 18 gauge steel
Will these LCA's fit my 1998 JGC Laredo 4.0 / 6 cyl OEM stock arms? If yes, is the right & left LCA.s the same ?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Since you are using stock control arms you will want to run Part # TJ3011 with the Adjustable Cam slot for the cam bolts your Jeep has from the factory , These are sold in pairs and they are slightly different between left side and right site there is a tab that extends up further on the outside of each mount which will dictate the left and right side that tab is also used to help locate the arm mounts in the proper location.
Will this work for a 2001 jeep wrangler ?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes, the TJ model Wrangler is 1997 - 2006.
