Had to do some cutting to get it to fit my artec truss but other than that pretty easy to install

Artec hydro truss

Truss shipped fast and fit perfect on my axle I couldnt be happier with the results

This was a first for me doing any axle mods. I emailed artec several months before purchasing this ram mount asking if I could use this with leaf springs and never got a response. I ordered it anyways. I had to cut about 6 off passengers side and 3 off the drivers side. Then I had to remove the track bar mount on the Dana 60 axle. I took one of the cut off pieces and added it to the drivers side to move the tube mount outwards just enough to not have to cut away any casting to weld it to the axle tube. It took a little fabrication but it will work with leaf springs. I did have to order 1 blocks for the leafs to clear the tie rods.

Great product

Arrived on time. Fits like a glove. I did not purchase their truss so I had to modify the bracket to tie into my homemade truss. It takes out all the guess work in where and how to mount it. Definitely worth the money to not figure and build all that. Would buy again.

Well designed easy installation

Purchased this for full hydro steer on Ford F350 Dana 60 with Reid Racking knuckles and Artec high steer kit. Initially bought a Blue Torch Fab kit but it was poorly designed and did not fit well. This kit lined up as designed as was simple to weld well done

Superduty 60 Full Hydro Ram Mount

I bought this to compliment the truss system that I got from Artec. As usual it is made with extreme precision and fits on the axle like a glove.

Doesn't look like this will work with a leaf spring rig. If not, what do you offer that will? Just the DIY unit I guess.

Will this fit a 2013 Ford f350 axle

A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes the RM6009 will fit all Superduty front axles from 1999 to Current

Is this ram mount able to be used with the factory radius mounts intact? IE, in an OEM application on a 05+ superduty with full hydraulic steering?

A — Staff (Artec Team): Not without modification it is intended to fit with 2" of cast cut off the housing around the driver side tube so with the factory radius arm mounts intact you would need to modify the ram mount .

I have a trail gear full hydro going on. Will it fit with this? Thank you

A — Staff (Artec Team): We have not tested this with the Trail gear ram it was designed around the PSC and Howe Performance 2.5 & 2.75" rams

Does this kit require the installation of an axle truss, or and it be welded to the axle by its self?

A — Staff (Artec Team): The ram mount is a stand alone unit so you would not need a truss to run this unless you wanted to add a truss .

Will this work with, or be able to tie into the new Apex truss kits with the top cap?

A — Staff (Artec Team): The new APEX kit with top cap is specifically for front coil spring applications in a Jeep JK, JL, or JT. This ram mount was designed a generation earlier and the bridge is not intended to interact with the APEX top cap since it is directly on the differential rather than raised above it. We have not tested them together but it is possible that with some extra fabrication, you could ge them to work together.

Will this allow the ram linkages to bolt to the stock drilled out arms?

A — Staff (Artec Team): No, this is intended to be used with our weld on full hydro high steer arms. The factory location is too low.

Can this be used on a hydro assist as well as a full hydro set-up?

A — Staff (Artec Team): This is intended to be used with a full hydro double ended ram but could work with a hydro assist you would need to fab up some tabs to mount the ram to the rammount

Can the gears/carrier still be removed with this welded in place?

A — Staff (Artec Team): It can be done but it there is not much room .
