Love it
Replaced a jenky homebrew bracket with this. Installed super easily and fit extremely well. Ill continue to use Artec for my bracketsmountsetc
Perfect place to start your project. No way anyone could fabricate a part this sturdy for the price. Buy it install it and take the credit
Awesome
Mount is pure beef and the adjustability sure is nice to have with a bit of extra material given so you can clean off the edges and get a solid mounting surface no matter the application. excited to finish the build with high steer on my tj44 and get the alignment spot on
Track Bar relocation Bracket
This thing is the definition of beef fit in really nice to the truss with a little bit of trimming to make it perfect. but I am sure this thing will hold up and it looks like ill be able to use the top hole for the track bar and then I can use the bottom hole for hydro assist
Customer
Great product built very well. Much sturdier than could have imagined. Sadly we only got to drive the jeep and test it out for about 3 weeks since we was rearended and the jeep was totaled. We will definitely be buying more from you guys for our jeep projects that we are starting soon. Keep up the phenomenal work.
What is the mounting width of the bracket?
I see that you need to run a custom track bar for this mount. Will the metalcloak front adjustable track bar work or do I need something totally custom? Thanks
A — Staff (Artec Team): None of the off the shelf trackbars will work you would need a fully custom trackbar fabricated
What is the bolt hole diameter in these brackets? It's not in your product description.
A — Staff (Artec Team): 7/16" hole
When using WJ knuckles and going to a high steer what is the over all amount of height change? Due to the truss on my xj I can't use the rustys track bar bracket to get the right height for crossover?
A — Staff (Artec Team): The upper hole is 4.20" higher center to center and 4.00" towards center from factory mount location.
With this mount am I suppose buy shorter track bar?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes, it will require a modified Trackbar.
if we user the tj3013 trac bar bracket do I need to make a new trac bar or can I use the Rubicon express trac bar from the 5.5 " kit? Also is it recommended to do a high steer when we make these mods?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes you will need to modify the Trackbar unless it allows enough room to shorten it to fit in the shorter space. Yes, you should be going with a high steer option to keep your steering geometry correct.
Does this stick out further than the coil? Not sure it'll clear my steering.
A — Staff (Artec Team): This should sit pretty close to flush with the front face of the coil bucket.
The stock tracbar bracket has the bracket for the steering stabilizer. Where/what is the steering stabilizer supposed to mount to after its cut off and this bracket is installed?
A — Staff (Artec Team): You can use one of the lower holes to raise the stabilizer out of the way. It will fine in single shear or you can add a bracket to put it in double shear.
What size is the bolt hole in the bracket? I know the narrow misalignment spacers are pro 3/4 bolts but there is no info about the hole size in the bracket...Thanks!
A — Staff (Artec Team): Holes are 7/16" to fit a factory style end and will need to be drilled out to fit the 3/4" hardware for the Narrow Misalignments.
Excellent
