Bought this to eliminate the gallons and quarts sliding around in the back of my jeep on the trails was going to mount a tote but I like how compact this is and it wont crack in a couple years from sitting in the sun like plastic. Fits on a wrangler wheel well nicely and had room to secure a 2.5gal jug of water in front of it also.
This crate is very well designed and manufactured. No welds anywhere just perfectly bent pieces of metal and rivets. The holding capacity is incredible considering how relatively small and lightweight it really is. When you realize you squeeze 10 bottles of fluid total in there (including two gallons nonetheless) you see how much went into the design of it. I am planning to attach it permanently to my tool box and gone are the days with spare bottles of fluid bouncing around everywhere. I painted mine with flat green military camo paint which makes it look very rugged like a military issued unit. However it would also look great with just a clear coat on it for a bare metal theme. This crate is simple yet extremely practical and versatile. And more importantly the latch that opens the top lid is of very high quality.
Great product. Very well made. Exactly what I was looking for. I would love to see one made in aluminum to match the rest of the products that I am using. Overall highly recommended
This Crate works great. Can bring all the extra fluids you need for a longer trip. compact easy to use.
Lets be honest. Its a box. It holds stuff. Its well made and fits the stuff its advertised to fit. What it really does is get nasty leaky bottles out of the rest of your stuff. Thats why it gets 5 stars.
The quart crate is well made. I have it loaded as shown on the web page and have had no issues with it opening up while on the trail.
