This is my first axle modification. It was not clear to me how the main tube was supposed to be mounted through to steering arm. I was able to get a hold of someone on artecs Facebook page and they sent me the picture below. It shows the main tube at an angle that none of the other pictures on the website show. Cleared everything up and I had them welded on fairly quickly.

Will These work with 12 bolt H1 Wheels (16.5") 0with 3.5" of backspacing?

A — Staff (Artec Team): We have not tested that wheel, but have found our high steer arms require 17" wheels, so it would be close but we cannot confirm. Thanks!

Can I fit a 4.75" backspaced wheel with these steering arms?

A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes a 17" or larger wheel with 4.75" backspacing is about as much as you can run

it say 99-04 in the notes it says this will fit 2005 dana 60 super duty , i believe this 2005 and 2006 are the same , will this fit a 2006 Dana 60 super duty ? and do you have a truss for the Dana 60 2006 that's not low profile as i'm going to have a 4 link triangulated set up and not sure if your low profile one would work . all so wanted to use the hydro steer set up you have ?

A — Staff (Artec Team): The HS6152&HS6153 will only work for a 1999-2004. For a 2005+ you will want a Hs6150 or hs6151

where can i find welding procedure and what welding rod to use. or do you have a official video ?thanks kim

A — Staff (Artec Team): We currently do not have a video or instructions. The knuckle is cast steel so it can be MIG welded as normal. We suggest preheating and post heating the knuckle. Every casting is different so it may require some minor modifications to either the knuckle or arm to fit.
