This is my first axle modification. It was not clear to me how the main tube was supposed to be mounted through to steering arm. I was able to get a hold of someone on artecs Facebook page and they sent me the picture below. It shows the main tube at an angle that none of the other pictures on the website show. Cleared everything up and I had them welded on fairly quickly.
A — Staff (Artec Team): We have not tested that wheel, but have found our high steer arms require 17" wheels, so it would be close but we cannot confirm. Thanks!
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes a 17" or larger wheel with 4.75" backspacing is about as much as you can run
A — Staff (Artec Team): The HS6152&HS6153 will only work for a 1999-2004. For a 2005+ you will want a Hs6150 or hs6151
A — Staff (Artec Team): We currently do not have a video or instructions. The knuckle is cast steel so it can be MIG welded as normal. We suggest preheating and post heating the knuckle. Every casting is different so it may require some minor modifications to either the knuckle or arm to fit.
A — Staff (Artec Team): No, This will only work on the 1999-2004 Super-duty axles .
