Im Fabricating a rock crawler with a chevy drivetrain and jeep body and bought these links from Artec. They went together perfect and worked awesome Quality is impeccable and design is top notch Will buy from them again
Very happy with how simple the bracket were to assemble. It takes all the guess work out of the 4 link set up on my jeep
Have purchased Artec products before so I knew it would be quality but still exceeded my expectations. The pieces all fit together so precisely. Obviously cut with high end plasma. Straight kerf and no burn-in. I know you are supposed to assemble during mock-up and tack together before final weld but the parts fit so well I wouldnt be afraid to tack them up beforehand as long as you hold the link bracket widths. I chose these over other brands because the upper frame plate is separate to accommodate my TJs repaired frame which if taller than stock. Great job Artec
Good product
I ordered the front 3 link bracket along with this one just noticed how much better the documentation is on this bracket. Good solid product mounted right up to my jeep TJ.
Will this fit a JKU? What axle truss should I use with this? How long should my upper and lower control arm be for a triangulated long arm?
Can these be used for the front and or rear on a Tj?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes, This bracket can be used front or rear but you may need to run a 2 piece front driveshaft with carrier bearing and have custom exhaust work done up front .
What is the maximum frame dimensions these mounts can accommodate? Are both the upper and lower link mounts the same width? I am using creeper joints for a build, they are 2-5/8" w/o spacers, looking to save time if these brackets will work.
A — Staff (Artec Team): This bracket can fit up to a 6 wide frame rail the top plate is free floating and intended to get welded where it needs to go. The mounting width of the brackets are 2-5/8" for both upper and lower joints.
is the 25% on the upper set, or can it be adjusted?
A — Staff (Artec Team): the 25* angle on the upper is fixed
What is the maximum separation on the holes?
A — Staff (Artec Team): 5.625" from lower link hole to tallest upper link hole
I have received these brackets already but I was wondering if the angle is enough for me to eliminate the rear track bar on my TJ ?
A — Staff (Artec Team): This bracket allows for single triangulation the uppers are on a 25 degree angle so you would not need the trackbar with them in the rear
do you send to isreal? is the bracker fit for 2.5' jony joint?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Yes, we can ship internationally . The joint mounting width is 2.63"
I'm interested in your 4 link frame bracket pair for my TJ, there is no way I can use them with out a body lift? Thanks, Joe
A — Staff (Artec Team): The highest hole for the link is what requires the body lift. You could cut off some of the top and make it work, however we've found that to get proper link separation on the frame side, the top hole is recommended. Basically to get best suspension geometry the link holes need to be a certain distance apart and either you can go higher or lower. Going lower results in the bracket hanging down lower and becoming a rock magnet. Going higher means a body lift. After lots of research, many Jeeps on the road that have been "modified" have body lifts for other reasons.
Can this bracket be used for trailing arms?
A — Staff (Artec Team): This may be more than you need for trailing arms as it encompassed the upper and lowers in one unit. We offer a number of brackets that may be more suitable for your use here: http://www.artecindustries.com/link_brackets
Any idea if these would work on the front of a 4cyl Yj with success? Part Number:BR1013
A — Staff (Artec Team): These are universal brackets and work in a number of applications. You may find in some cases though that it may need to be slightly modified or access to some holes may be limited without modification of the tub/body.
Excellent
