Why, Just Why ?!?!
A — Staff (Artec Team): We know , We ask ourselves this quite often. But to answer your question It'll keep the broken axle shaft pieces , spider gear and R&P teeth in the housing better than the stock cover while adding additional weight to your new boat anchor for those days on the lake in stormy waters . ( We don't agree with tossing axles in bodies of water but that's what d35's are commonly used for )
