Beefy is an understatement
Ive always been a fan of Artec products and their high quality. This Backbone truss is no different. the fit is perfect and you know that a lot of design went into their products. Really happy with how this is going to reinforce my axle and especially love the mounting platform it gives me for shocks and tabs.

Great quality product
Ordered this backbone truss because my previous 14 bolt had been bent from abuse and because I am on leaf springs a full truss isnt a option do to how low it sits. I did have to cut about 2 inches off each end for it to fit and cutting out the center was also kind of a pain but if you just take the time you can easily get a nice snug fit for a good weld. Overall its a great product. Clean bends good clean metal nutserts are awesome. Would definitely recommend And it looks wicked on a shaved 14 bolt

I bought this back bone for my sterling 9.75. The parts were absolutely beautiful. I had to trim the center section quite a bit to get it over my diff cover but I knew that going in. It was totally worth the time and effort for the strength and functionality that I gained. Great product from some great people. Very helpful on the phone with a lot knowledge about there products and the Offroad world. THANKS GUYS

Will this fit a drw axle that has been converted to srw? The wms is 72".

is this compatible with the dana 44 on a wrangler jk?
A — Staff (Artec Team): It is specifically designed for the 14 bolt axle which is much larger than the JK44. We have not tested if this can be modified to fit, but it's possible with enough modification. We make not assurances though that you'll be able to get it to fit right.

How much does this truss weigh?
A — Staff (Artec Team): Shipping weight on the backbone is 16 lbs. So figure somewhere around 14 lbs actual weight.
